On Monday, February 23, 2026, Treva Gordon, Founder of L.O.S.S. had the honor of serving as the guest speaker for Altrusa of Clarksville. Gordon said, “It was truly a privilege to share my heart and speak about my book, My First Grandson, with such an incredible group of women committed to service and community impact.”

Altrusa International’s mission of “Leading to a Better Community” was clearly reflected in the warmth, leadership, and dedication in the room. The engagement, thoughtful questions, and fellowship made the evening both impactful and memorable.

Sharing the inspiration behind My First Grandson—a story rooted in love, legacy, and the joy of family—was especially meaningful. Seeing members hold the book and celebrate its message reminded me why storytelling matters.
